Winthrop Congregational Church, UCC
No matter who you are. No matter where you are on life's journey. You are welcome here!
Hi everyone.
We had trouble getting onto the blog.* Everything is going great here. We had our first clinic today and saw 47 patients in about one half day. This was in the small village next to where we are staying. It was very hot but we did fine. We had several students from the high school to help with translation. My brother Geoff and sister-in-law Becky helped out with checking people in.The students were a big help. They helped in the pharmacy and did I exams on the kids. They handed out reading glasses to most of the adults. Yesterday went to the beach and get some swimming and snorkeling in the morning. In the afternoon we were judges at the science fair at the bilingual school. That was a lot of fun as well but a very long day. Three hours in the hot sun. Tomorrow we have the day off and on Thursday we have a clinic at the bilingual school. Thanks again for all your support. I will keep you all posted. Please forward this to everybody in the church.
